Full-time: Bournemouth 2-0 Gwalia United. A first-half strike from captain Abby Jones set the tone for the hosts, with a penalty from Zoe Barratt with 10 minutes left to play, sealing the result. Gwalia did well to frustrate one of the frontrunners for promotion, our best chance in the second-half coming from Tia Asker’s deflected shot.
In a fortnight’s time (Sunday 8th March), we host AFC Wimbledon at the USW Sport Park. Kick-off is at 2pm.
