Once Sport Software

Gwalia United have introduced Once Sport, a leading video-analysis platform, to support their match and training review process this season. The software, widely used across professional football, has quickly become a central tool in how the coaching staff prepare players and deliver feedback.

Manager Cori Williams-Mills said the platform has already improved the clarity of analysis sessions.

“Once Sport allows us to communicate ideas far more clearly,” she said. “The visuals, the speed of clipping, and the telestration tools mean players see exactly what we’re talking about. It’s simple, sharp and easy to understand.”

The visual features at analysis sessions at Gwalia now resemble high-end broadcast breakdowns, with clear lines, highlights, spotlight effects and motion tracking guiding players through key moments. Gwalia’s coaches said in the Once Sport software package; that’s intentional.

“I’ve used a range of platforms for data capture and telestration, but Once Sport is up there with some of the best visuals I’ve seen. “Players immediately engage with it. The graphics are clean, the animations are smooth, and the detail is excellent.”

The idea is to make information accessible. If players enjoy the way analysis is presented, they absorb it more quickly. The club outlined several practical ways the software fits into their weekly operations: Rapid Clipping and Review means discussions after the game are based on real detail, not just perceptions.” Broadcast-Style Telestration leads to the system’s graphics helping break down pressing triggers, rotations and positional cues.

With Player Access at Home Each squad member receives short personalised clips.

“We’re trying to make information as clear as possible,” Williams-Mills said. “Once Sport supports that aim really well. Good analysis doesn’t need to be complicated. It just needs to be clear. Once Sport helps us deliver that every week.”
