Gwalia United FC are pleased to announce the launch of their Player Sponsorship programme for the 2026/27 season, offering supporters, local businesses and club partners a unique opportunity to align directly with individual first-team players as the club continues to grow its presence on and off the pitch. For £500 + VAT, sponsors will be able to back a Gwalia United FC player for the duration of the upcoming campaign, forming a closer connection with the squad while supporting the continued development of women’s football at the club and within the wider community. The initiative has been designed to provide a balance of meaningful engagement and consistent visibility, reflecting Gwalia’s ambition to strengthen relationships between players, supporters and partners.
Each sponsorship package includes a range of benefits designed to offer both personal and promotional value. Sponsors will receive recognition as the official sponsor of an individual first-team player and two tickets to the club’s End of Season Awards Evening. Throughout the year, sponsors will also feature across Gwalia United’s digital platforms, including social media announcement graphics, matchday programme acknowledgements and visibility on the club website.
A key innovation for the 2026/27 season will be the introduction of integrated goal and assist sponsorship content. Whenever a sponsored player scores or contributes directly to a goal, dedicated graphics will be produced featuring both player and sponsor, shared across Gwalia United FC’s official channels. This creates a recurring touchpoint across the season, ensuring sponsors are regularly highlighted in line with on-pitch moments of success.
The club has also outlined a series of wider activation opportunities that may be developed throughout the season, including player of the match sponsorship features, behind-the-scenes content on our relaunched YouTube channel, matchday networking opportunities with other partners, and collaborative media work with players. These additional elements are intended to further enhance the value of sponsorship while offering flexible ways for businesses and supporters to engage with the squad.
