Gwalia United play their home games at the University of Wales (USW) Sport Park in Pontypridd, around 10 miles north of Cardiff, the capital city of Wales. The venue boasts state-of-the-art facilities, including a full-size 3G pitch built to FIFA Pro and World Rugby standard.

🚗 By Car

From the M4 (eastbound or westbound):

Exit at Junction 32 and head north on the A470 for around 4 miles. Take the exit signposted A4054, then take the first exit at the roundabout into Treforest Industrial Estate (A4054). The USW Sport Park is signposted on your left.

From Merthyr Tydfil, travelling south on the A470:

Continue south on the A470 to the junction signposted A4054. At the roundabout, take the fourth exit into Treforest Industrial Estate (A4054). The USW Sport Park is signposted on your left.

Parking

Please can all fans use the lower car park, to allow players and staff to use the upper car park.

Lower car park: Approx. 60 spaces – cars, minibuses and coaches

Upper car park: 5 accessible spaces, close to the main entrance and accessible toilets

Cost: £1 for up to 4 hours, or £2 for the full day – this can ONLY be paid via the Trust Parking App.

Overflow: If the lower car park is full, additional parking is available elsewhere on the industrial estate

🚆 By Train

The nearest station is Treforest Estate, around a 15-minute walk through the industrial estate. Trains run from Cardiff Central and Cardiff Queen Street, with a typical journey time of around 20 minutes.

The nearest stop is on Main Avenue, just past The Pottery pub in Treforest Industrial Estate.

• No hot food is served at the ground itself, but the main building has water and vending machines
• The Pottery (CF37 5YR) – the nearest pub, a 2-minute walk away, directly opposite the ground on Main Avenue
• For a wider choice, Nantgarw Business Park (CF15 7QX), approx. 1 mile away has Frankie & Benny’s, Nando’s, KFC, McDonald’s and Costa Coffee
