We are delighted to announce that Edwards Coaches will continue as the Official Travel Partner of Gwalia United for the next two seasons. The partnership has gone from strength to strength, with Edwards providing reliable travel support throughout our campaign and helping the team get to where they need to be, both on and off the pitch.

As an inherently Welsh club, Gwalia United is passionate about partnering with the very best that Wales has to offer. Our mission extends far beyond the football pitch; we are committed to building a distinctly Welsh brand that champions excellence and creates opportunities for women and girls across the country. That is why we are especially proud to continue our relationship with Edwards Coaches, one of Wales’ strongest and most respected brands.

A key pillar of the Gwalia vision is to ensure that women’s footballers receive the same standards of support, professionalism and service that have long been expected at the highest levels of the men’s game. We believe that the very best women deserve the very best environment in which to perform, and Edwards Coaches share that ambition.
For generations, Edwards has been trusted to transport professional teams from around the world as they travel across Wales, providing the highest-quality travel experience through their outstanding fleet of coaches. Through this partnership, Gwalia United players will continue to benefit from that same elite-level provision as the club strives to set new standards within the women’s game.
As part of the renewed partnership, Gwalia Head Coach Cori Williams-Mills recently visited the Edwards headquarters in Llantrisant to meet members of the team and take a look behind the scenes at the impressive fleet. The visit included a tour of one of Edwards’ dedicated team coaches, as well as a brand-new Mercedes Tourismo from their holiday and private hire fleet.

Speaking about the partnership, Simon Ingham, Commercial Manager at Edwards Coaches, said:
“Edwards Coaches are delighted to continue our partnership with Gwalia United for the next two seasons. We are really pleased with how the relationship has developed and we are proud to support the club as they continue to grow. Like all the teams we support, we wish Gwalia United all the very best for the season ahead and look forward to being part of their journey.”
Gwalia United would like to thank Simon and everybody at Edwards Coaches for their continued support and belief in our vision. We are delighted to continue our journey alongside such a proud Welsh company that shares our commitment to delivering the highest standards for women’s sport.
Speaking about the partnership, Gwalia United Head Coach Cori Williams-Mills said:
“From the moment our players stepped onto the Edwards coaches, they were genuinely taken aback by the quality of service and the resources that Edwards have provided. Creating a professional environment is incredibly important to us as a club, and those details make a huge difference to the players’ experience. Edwards have consistently delivered standards that match our ambitions, and it is fantastic that our players can travel in the same conditions enjoyed by elite teams across the game.”

Gwalia United co-owner Julian Jenkins added:
“Partnering with strong Welsh brands is exactly what Gwalia United is all about. As an inherently Welsh club, we want to work with organisations that share our values and our ambition to raise standards within the women’s game.”
“A huge part of our mission is ensuring that our players have access to the very best support, from the best coaches on the pitch to the best coaches off it – pun absolutely intended. Edwards have built an outstanding reputation across Wales and beyond, and we are delighted to continue this partnership as we take the club forward together.”
And if you are planning your own travels, whether for holidays, private hire or days out, be sure to check out everything Edwards has to offer.
