Exeter City v Gwalia United – Match Preview

Gwalia United sign-off their FA Women’s National League Southern Premier Division season away at Exeter City. The game at St James’ Park kicks-off at 2pm.

Last time out for Gwalia, we took on Watford on Easter Sunday, as we were defeated 3-1. An own goal and a Coral Haines strike saw the Hornets race into a 2-0 first half lead.

The early stages of the second half saw Gwalia pull a goal back, courtesy of Tia Asker. The visitors soon restore their two-goal lead, Haines registering her brace. The Grecians were in league action a fortnight ago, falling to a 2-0 defeat at AFC Wimbledon.

Our winning form in March resulted in Gwalia manager, Cori Williams-Mills pick up the league’s manager of the month award.
