Gwalia United will take on Swindon Town Women in a pre-season friendly on Sunday, July 6th, at the University of South Wales Sports Park, with kick-off at 2pm.
The match marks an important step in Gwalia’s preparations ahead of the 2025/26 campaign as the club continues to build momentum on and off the pitch. With a number of exciting new signings such as Beth McGowan and Daisy Ackerman, and returning international talent, including recent addition Amina Vine, it promises to be a thrilling afternoon of football.
Swindon Town, a well-established side from the English women’s football pyramid, will provide a strong test as Gwalia fine-tunes its squad and playing style under manager James Thomas.
