        Gwalia then come incredibly close with their first corner of the game. Emily Poole’s inswinger was very close to going straight in!

        Ruby Scahill couldn’t get on the end of it but it is much improved play.

        Needless to say, Laura O’Sullivan Jones faced very little challenge.

        She then attempted a long range volley that very almost found the net.

        Dior Knorr plays a looping ball into the area that Ashlee Hincks narrowly misses.

        Perhaps the Gwalia defense did enough to put her off.

        Scahill barges into the goalkeeper Kite very slightly.

        Kite reacted and had to stop herself from having a kick out.

        Scahill has made an energetic start to this second half and appears to be frustrating to deal with.

        Defended by Gwalia and cleared again. It was dealt with better this time.

        Ruby Scahill is on the field in place of Nolan now and gets a chance to use her pace.

        In front of Rose Kite, Scahill was eyeing up a shot before Hannah Mackenzie made another last gasp tackle.

        Positive from the substitute.

        This time her shot is deflected by her teammate Emily Donovan, who guides the ball home with great power.

        Some great defending from Libby Piggot denies the hosts who’s subsequent corner goes wayward.

        Gwalia need half time quickly. The crossbar has saved them this time.

        Khassal cuts in from the left and tries to curl one from far out.

        It very almost dips in but Gwalia escape.

        It’s a mistake deep in their own half by Gwalia, and Ashlee Hincks goes through one one one and places the ball into the bottom right corner… or so we thought.

        It’s a gasp from everyone in the ground as Hincks’ effort slides agonizingly wide.

        It’s a massive let off for Gwalia.

        Concerns for Kylie Nolan as she is tackled to the ground yet again, this time illegally.

        She had to go off for 30 seconds but thankfully can carry on.

        It was a sumptuous ball across the hosts’ defense.

        As Kylie Nolan is surely about to put Gwalia ahead, Hannah Mackenzie makes a crunching tackle to deny her.

        Great play all round there. But Nolan again, popping up in threatening places.

        Gwalia were starting to threaten.

        But they lost the ball and Emily Poole had to pull down Emily Donovan to stop a dangerous counter attack.

        It’s a yellow card brandished for Poole’s minor transgression.

        Cufford swings in a corner and Leeta Rutherford was free on the back post.

        Her volley was blocked at the goalmouth and later cleared by Manon Pearce.

        Then comes a third and fourth corner for the home side that seem to trouble Gwalia each time.

        No breakthrough for either side yet.

        Gwalia win the ball back high again.

        This time it’s Kylie Nolan who intercepts a ball and looks to slide in Sargent.

        But Sargent stopped her run, seemingly offside.

        Wimbledon attack down the right with Georgia Cufford who plays a low ball into the box.

        Gwalia make a bit of a mess of it in their area before Cerys Jones clears the danger.

        Elsewhere the referee, Fabio Roque, seems to be letting a few challenges go on both sides.

        As she did last week, Jessie Taylor is leading the high press, and doing so relentlessly for Gwalia.

        She then carries the ball up field and plays in Kylie Nolan who scuffs her opportunity.

        Good movement from Nolan to get between the two defenders in blue.
