Gwalia United have officially launched their new commercial partnership opportunities for the 2026/27 season, inviting businesses, organisations and supporters to become part of one of the most ambitious projects in women’s football in Wales. The commercial offering can be viewed here.
As the only Welsh women’s club competing in the English football pyramid, Gwalia United continue to build a unique platform that combines elite-level football with growing UK-wide visibility. The club’s newly released commercial brochure outlines a range of opportunities for partners to align themselves with the rapid growth of the women’s game while supporting the long-term development of female football in Wales.
The launch comes as the club continues its wider mission of bringing elite-level women’s football to Wales through sustainable growth, player development and increased visibility for women’s sport.
Among the opportunities available for the new season are training kit partnerships, warm-up kit sponsorships, travel kit branding, pitchside advertising, player sponsorships and matchday partnerships, giving businesses of all sizes accessible ways to become involved with the club’s journey.
Importantly, the club’s continued expansion off the pitch is also creating new opportunities for companies to invest directly into community and player development projects across Wales.
Gwalia United have already confirmed the launch of their new Under-17s side for the upcoming season, while the club is also preparing to announce an exciting new initiative surrounding a regional development centre designed to strengthen player pathways and increase opportunities for young female footballers.
These projects will provide partners with the chance to support meaningful community initiatives that deliver genuine CSR value, while also contributing tangible outcomes for the future of women’s sport in Wales.
Co-owner Julian Jenkins believes the timing is right for businesses to become involved with the women’s game in Wales.
“Women’s football is growing at an incredible rate, but what makes Gwalia unique is that we are building something with both purpose and long-term ambition. This is not simply about sponsorship space — it is about joining a movement that is creating opportunities for female athletes in Wales and helping shape the future of the game.”
“The launch of our Under-17s programme and the work we are doing around a development centre are hugely important parts of that vision. These are projects that can create real impact in communities while building pathways for the next generation of players.”
“We are proud of the legacy connected to Gwalia and the number of players that have gone on to represent Wales internationally, but we are equally excited about what comes next. We want partners who believe in growing alongside us.”
Partnership Manager Hannah Mills says the club’s commercial offering has been designed to make partnerships accessible while still delivering meaningful exposure.
“We understand that every business is different, which is why we have created opportunities at a range of levels. Whether someone wants to support an individual player, advertise on matchdays or become part of our wider commercial programme, there is a genuine opportunity to connect with a growing audience and support women’s football in Wales.”
“There is also a real social impact element to what we are building. Companies now increasingly want partnerships that align with community values, equality and long-term development, and these projects allow businesses to make a visible difference.”
“Early partners in women’s football are helping define where the game goes next. We want our partners to feel part of the journey and part of the impact the club is making both on and off the pitch.”
The club’s commercial brochure also highlights Gwalia United’s growing visibility through FA competitions, UK-wide media exposure and player-led digital content, reinforcing the club’s ambition to continue raising the profile of women’s football across Wales and beyond.
